Christ-centered extracurricular activities are an important part of our program.
The Cornerstone Courage soccer and basketball teams compete with students from area churches and Christian schools, as well as the Rochester School for the Deaf. Our Christ-centered approach emphasizes integrity and sportsmanship, as well as teaching our students the fundamentals of the sports they play. Local homeschoolers are welcome to join us. Please contact us for more information.
Cornerstone students participate in community service projects, such as bell ringing and packing meal boxes for the Salvation Army. Students also enjoy our annual Winter Fun Day and End-Of-The-Year Picnic.
Additionally, Cornerstone students have the opportunity to take private voice, piano, woodwind, and brass lessons during the school day, and they perform semi-annual recitals. Our students use their talents leading worship in our weekly chapel services. As well, classes participate in annual school plays.
All students take Art and Music courses once per week. Physical Education is offered twice per week. High school students also take Sign Language twice per week to meet the language requirement.
