Graduation and Awards Ceremony
Thursday, June 15, 2007, 7:00p.m.
Christ Community Church
36 Coleman Road
Brockport, NY 14420
In addition to the graduation ceremony, all students in grades K-12 will receive their academic awards.
Juniors and their families traditionally honor the Senior class by setting up and serving at the reception that follows the ceremony. Your turn will come next year!
Decorating &Senior Table Set Up
10:00a.m. - Noon
Those who have volunteered to help decorate and the senior families arrive to set up the Senior tables in the foyer/reception area.
Each senior has approximately 2-4 feet of space to display pictures and memorabilia showcasing their lives thus far. They often contain picture walls and awards received. Often a short message is written of their goals for the future.
Set up is best during this time, as it is very busy those few minutes before the ceremony. We leave promptly at noon, so please plan ahead.
Chapel Band Rehearsal & Final Set Up
Food and Beverages are prepared for serving during this time. Food donations can be accepted at the school no later than Wednesday, June 14. Otherwise, fresh fruit and veggies, along with fresh cookies, need to be brought directly to the venue already prepared to serve on appropriate serving dishes.
Students Gather by Homeroom
All students, attired in uniforms or nicer, arrive and go downstairs to gather with their teacher and homeroom for the 7:00p.m. procession. Students will remain seated with their class throughout the ceremony.
Reception held in the café foyer following the ceremony. All are welcome to partake!
